FY22 School of Law Annual Report

MESSAGE FROM THE DEAN

It is an honor to present to you our Annual Report for the 2021-2022 fiscal year.  My hope is that as you take time to explore the various content highlighted, you will be reminded that so much of our success depends on the generosity of our donors – and we could not be more grateful.

The University of Georgia School of Law is redefining what it means to be a great national public law school – offering a world-class, hands-on, purpose-driven educational experience while never surrendering our commitment to accessibility. Because of your support, we are seeing the fruits of these efforts unfold as we posted the #1 employment rate in the nation, with more than 97% of the Class of 2021 securing full-time, long-term jobs that require bar passage or where a J.D. provides an advantage. Additionally, this year we enrolled the most academically credentialed J.D. class in history, and we boast an ultimate bar passage rate exceeding 97.7% for the class of 2020. By maintaining a reasonable rate for tuition and prioritizing the availability of scholarships, the aggregate annual indebtedness of our students has decreased by almost $7 million compared to 2013.

Thank you to those who were and continue to be a part of realizing our vision and helping us create a transformative impact for our students.
